Muczne – A small, beautiful settlement placed in a valley between Jeleniowate and Bukowe Berdo. Years ago village was ravaged by Tartars and settlers was imprisoned as slaves – there from came the name out: (ukr. muka – torture/torment). Before WW II town consist out of 15 houses . In June 1946 all inhabitants were moved by force to Ukraine and town was destroyed. In early 70ties a little settlement was found by wood workers. In 1974 the territory along river San was taken over by ministry office and transformed to a luxury governmental hunting centre. Territory was completely closed for touristic purpose. Centre was run by colonel Kazimierz Doskoczyński. It is believed that after him Muczne acquired name Kazimierzowo. Nowadays Muczne is dunder Stuposiany forest inspectorate.
